The homeowner is upset and wants me to pick up the delivery I just made. What should I do?

The first thing you should do is ask the homeowner to email ChipDrop support at support@getchipdrop.com.  We will handle all customer service issues for you, so that you don't have to.

We always ask homeowners who are upset about a delivery to provide several pictures of the material that was delivered.  We will look at their request to see what they asked for, such as logs, no logs, any species they didn't want, and where they wanted it dropped at.  If everything looks good, we will simply explain to the homeowner that the material they received is what they had signed up for, referring them to our numerous videos and pictures on the website.

If there is an issue with the delivery, such as: 

  • some property was damaged
  • it was dropped at the wrong address
  • the species or logs requests were not followed
  • there was a large amount of unchipped brush or trash
  • the material was not consistent with our Expectations of Service

...then we will contact you and let you know that you will need to help out the homeowner in some capacity, either by removing some or all of the material, or some other remedy that is acceptable to the homeowner.  As long as you follow our Expectations of Service and use some common sense, then there shouldn't be any problems.
